Here's some info...just passing it along. I bought an amp on Ebay and it was listed as working 100 percent, and he also stated no returns. Well, it has fuzzy output and I found a cap just rolling around inside of it. It was only 6 screws to take the top off, normally I wouldn't have investigated...but I heard something rattling, so I checked it. He shipped it in a box barely big enough for the amp with a little bit of newspaper on top for the padding. Shithead.
I filed a paypal *dispute* after he wouldn't respond to my emails. *HE* escalated the dispute to a *claim.* Hedging his bets that Paypal would rule in his favor. Well they didn't. Paypal ruled in my favor. All I have to do is show proof that I returned the item and he received it.
Here's the kicker. No shipping service will deliver to an apt without a signature. So he has been avoiding UPS and they keep showing the delivery as being rescheduled. I figure one day soon they are going to return the amp to me as undeliverable.
I have a couple of other aces up my sleeve, but I still plan on getting my ****ing money back.
