Ok here goes I sent an amp out to a guy on ebay that was working 100% the day I sent it. He gets it and send me an email saying that it does not work no power no nothing. I ask him if he checked for 12 volts ground and remote with a meter he said yes the amp is dead and wants a refund.

I have 100% 300++ feedback on ebay most of which is car audio stuff.

I have no way to know how he wired it up.

I did not list that I took refunds.

He just opened a claim on ebay i am not sure what to do I have never had this happen before.

Can they just charge it back on my paypal or can he take me to court ect

thanks

meaning you had it set for "no returns accepted"?

nope you guys will sorta do like peer mediation (sp?) should have included a gut pic of the amp with the date on a peice of paper in the listing and asked that he provo\ide gut pic now

I own a Ebay store relating to car audio. If you noted that you did not accept returns you are fine. In most cases, as long as you have proof of delivery, you will win. You might take a hit on a feedback score though, which sucks but isn't the end of your ebay days.
what is your username on there? you can pm it to me if you like?

Buyer is a scammer he won't take you to small claims.

It's in the hands of paypal.. They will basically toss a coin in the air and call heads..

Having 'No Returns' on the auction, doesnt mean shit. If you sold a fully working product, and the buyer receives it and it doesn't work, then its your responsibility to work with the buyer on resolving the problem, i.e., the buyer returning the product back.

Did you write down a serial number or anything for the amp?

You dont even know any of the facts, so how can you go out and call the buyer a scammer?
