Earbud selection?

I've been exercising with headphones for YEARS...7 or so. I ride bikes for 6 hours at a time 3 days a week, so trust me when I say, for $40 these are the best headphones out there:

They come with 3 different sized ear pieces. These are the only headphones that stay in my ear throughout my activities, and the music response is very nice.

I've had two.

I will give you that if you don't take it easy with them, they're crap.

I had one pair (white ones) for about 5 months and the wires were exposed and went dead on me.

However, I decided to buy another set since I abused the crap out of those and it was really my fault that they tore. This 2nd set (black) has been around for over a year.

Bottom line: If you don't yank them apart when they're tangled they'll last (not saying you did, dru).

I bought a $10 pair of Sony earbuds with a hook that goes over your ear to hold them in. They are way more comfortable than regular earbuds. I use them only at the gym and never had a problem. They are very durable and sound really good too.

i just purchased a pair of shures new SE210's for my Zune, defiantly worth all teh money..those other just dont compare, i dont think you will be happy with the sonys..but maybe our preferances are different..look into shure..

I had the shures... They are good, but if you're on a budget the sony's are just fine. Besides, he said under $60.

You can find etymotic er-6i's used for around 60 bucks. I have several pairs of high end headphones, but my er-6i's still get the most use.

find those on amazon or anywhere else. I paid about $55 shipped for mine. They own the Sony ex-51's in sound and isolation.
