I just bought brand new in box authorized Dynaudio MD142's so I could complete my kick panels the way that I want.

I also want to purchase MW182's (9-10" midbass) to replace the MW160's. I already have the amps to go full active so I don't need the crossovers.

So I am selling the System 340 minus the tweets. I'll be keeping the tweets.

I am selling the MD140/2's, the MW 160's, and the passive crossovers.

This setup is used so I want to make sure I accurately represent what you will be getting.

First, let me describe the Midrange drivers.

As you can see in the pictures, these do not have grilles. I have taken very detailed pictures so you can see exactly what these speakers look like. Visually they are not great because the factory grilles were glued on but removed by the original owner. I have not made any attempt to clean up the glue residue because if they are mounted behind grilles it doesn't matter.

I purchased these as part of a complete 340 set about 2 years ago and they did not have grilles at that time. I used an aftermarket grille in my last install and it worked great. In my current install I needed the depth so they are surface mounted. So I purchased the brand new 142's to get the factory convex grilles.

Functionally these are perfect and sound great. Retail on these is $250 each ($500/pr.) and Woofersetc sells them unauthorized for $199 each; ($398/pr.).

For shipping I will screw these under round baffles for protection.

the midbass drivers are currently in the car. I won't pull them out until the sale is made. I commit to having them out and shipped within 3 days of sale completion, but will do everything in my power to get it done within 24 hours. These are wonderful midbass drivers. If you have heard them before you already know that. Retail on these midbass drivers is $550/pr.

The crossovers:

anybody that knows Dynaudio will tell you that they make a world class speaker, but don't spend much money on the looks of the crossovers or the terminals. They do, however, put world class components inside the crossovers, where it matters. One of the crossover boxes does not snap together well (this is typical). It might be fixable, but I just put zip ties around it because I would hide them anyway because they simply don't look exceptional even when new. both crossovers are missing one of the screws, which really doesn't matter because the mids and tweets have terminals for plus and minus 2 db in addition to flat, so you are always going to have at least 4 terminals unused on each crossover. I should also say that at least one screw on each crossover is nearly stripped and can't be tightened down hard. It snugs enough to caputure the wire or terminal but you can't crank it down. Again, typical of the Dynaudio crossovers.

If you are super anal about perfection and having everything like new, this won't be the setup for you. But, if you want to get world class sound on a budget and are willing to put up with this set showing normal signs of use, then this can be your ticket. Add a nice set of tweeters and you will have a phenomenal front stage for about the price of what a pair of Dyn midranges cost new.

If you are unsure about anything - Ask! I have tried to describe these as best as I can and I don't want an unsatisfied buyer.

$425 OBO shipped to lower 48 to paypal verified addresses only. Will be shipped insured with signature required for delivery.

I need Dyn MW 182's and would also consider butyl based deadener as partial trade.

I have references at DIYmobileaudio.com under rockinridgeline and also have perfect feedback on ebay.

Thanks,

Tony
