hey boys and girls,

so i'm experiencing some rattles in my car from my subs, and i've been looking into installing some dynamat extreme in the trunk and the read deck.

from looking at the dynamat website it does not give detailed instructions, i was wondering if anyone had some advice on installation

your help would be much appreciated

thanks alot

with dynamat your not supposed to have to use heat i thought. make sure you clean the surface with rubbing alcohol and a lint free cloth. also you can use some spray adhiesive to help the mat stick better. also make sure to wear gloves when using that stuff because it's sharp when cut. get a wooden roller. home depot or walmart has them in the wallpaper i section. i usually use wallpaper rollers about 1-2 inches wide. i usually do small pieces at a time. when you put it on try and press it with your hands ans much as you can, then use the roller to smooth it all out and remove any air pockets. also a plastic putty knife works well for corners and to flatten it out

hey thanks for the info,

however i still have a question, so do i just take out the carpet out of the trunk and apply the dynamat to all the sheet metal visable??

thanks
