I'm about to start a new box and was thinking of Dynamating the inside.
Any advantages/disadvantages?
Thanks, Chris

Wouldn't it make it worse then?I was reading that back-wave distortion occurs when sound waves generated from the rear of a speaker bounce back to the speaker cone, interfering with the speaker's operation and causing distortion. By placing Dynamat on the inside of the box it would absorb, diffuse, and weaken rear waves, eliminating distortion. I just wanted to get someone elses opinion on the matter.
you would need deflex or w.e its called. Or the egg carton looking foam.I was reading that back-wave distortion occurs when sound waves generated from the rear of a speaker bounce back to the speaker cone, interfering with the speaker's operation and causing distortion.
