Dumb@ss kids who think they have systems

After reading all the SQ feggotry topics lately, I believe that SQ is NOT subjecttive, but how something sounds to someone is subjective even though to most people what is considered to be SQ(maybe not "true" SQ) would sound good if that makes any sense

I agree, sorta. I mean, even if you prefer harsh tweeters or soft ones, less low end or more, a smoother versus something else, you can tell when its done WELL.

To your average joe, a lot of your SQ has to do with your EQ settings. Some people like the Loud setting, but some people like a flat EQ.

Even the noob down the street who owns WalMart gear.... is into the same hobby as you. Respect that, help then when you can, and support them when you cant. We all come from ignorance.
and getting the bulk of your car audio info from this site will increase your ignorance to the point of being an "expert" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

To the people who say that the only way to really show someone making bogus claims is to meter...

Doesn't help. Buddy I know claims his is the loudest around, that he's won 5 trophies, all that, with two rockford p3's. Claims 162db's. He has no clue what meter was used.

Too many shows/shops that don't use TL's throw off metering. So unless you meter them side by side it doesn't work.

The only real way to show them is a knife fight.

Then Ima semi expert. Let's see mods from ca.com, hu from ca.com, woofer parts from teampsi who is a member at ca.com, a large amount of knowledge gained from the addiction to ca.com...... Yup I'm almost an expert alls that is left is to get laid by ca.com;)

This thread smells like sarcasm and stupidity. The fun part is watching everyone try to figure out who smells like what.
My favorite quote of the thread because I'm doing the same thing. The best is when you come across someone that just doesn't get it and they're getting furious.

K. So this kid drives up to me yesterday says my system is loud.

Ok.

Keep in mind I have 2 TC Sounds 5200 18s.

4 sundown saz2kds.

So.

He says my system is loud.

My gain is on half and subwoofer on 0 volume is 3/4

Then he says his is louder.

He has 2 12 inch Rockford p2s. And rockford t1500bd.

Then I finally turned it up.

Lol.

He said he couldn't breathe in his car.

Haha.

I said that was only about 153db.

He's like I thought it was a thunderstorm outside.

Lol
And then you pulled your pecker out and he bowed at your feet like you were King Leonidas and your lineage and speaker system will echo in eternity. Glorious day!
