Exactly. Well, you know, it's only going to be English class in the future. Or a term paper in that aerospace engineering course that's getting them there. Teacher's won't mind, will they?My favorites are the people who talk like 2nd grade drop-outs, and use 'its only the internet' as their excuse... like they will ever grow up to be rocket scientists.
Hating it, and being proficient in it, are two different things. I hate English classes, they are about as boring as a class gets. But that doesn't mean I chose to look like I failed them all either.most engineering students I know hate english, and thanx for the corrections mr audioholic //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
You want me to try to reinforce your prejudicial view of an entire group of very different and unnamed people? Ok, because they ARE better than everyone else. That is true, but could you give me some kind of explanation as to why the SQ enthusiasts on here seem to be jerks who truly believe they are better than everyone? I'm on DIYMA as well and that forum is pretty much ALL SQ people yet most of them seem not to be dicks.
Very good point here for people to think about. +1 for that. Whoever first said that definitely had the right view on life.A wise person once told me that having class isn't how you act to your boss, or even your peers, its how you act every day, to the girl at the drive-thru window at Wendy's for example. Its amazing how many different aspects of life this philosophy can be applied to. Even in regards to how you present yourself in an almost completely anonymous setting like the internet. Not a slam at anyone here, just something to think about.

Maybe Ant deletes all the dicks' posts on DIYMA. *shrug*
Ok. You are making a generalization that is hard to agree with, let alone reinforce. But I can say this, the average age of people on this forum is probably lower than DIYMA, thus there tend to be more people who think 'SQ' is how well you can rattle your neighbor's windows. So the more mature people here whom try to discuss such matters with them may come across with an attitude of frustration.not necessarily reinforce it, but give me some kind of understanding
Cause 300RMS is impressive to begin with........................................//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gifSo I always love when a kid like today brags to me that his sterio is soooo loud. And when I ask what he has he says he is running 1300 watts to a pair of Sony explodes. Now I know my 18 with 300 watts will stomp him so I just laugh and wait for him to ask me what I have. And it's always the same... They claim there's is louder.
Doing competitive scores with minimal power is certainly more impressive than simply buying large amplifiers. The former takes installation, testing and tuning skills and time; the latter just takes a big enough checking account.Cause 300RMS is impressive to begin with........................................//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

All that means is they REALLY **** at installations... And then many subsequently make up for it with more power, bigger subs, etc.not necessarily true, I'm sure there are people who have 5k+ watts on tap and 4 18s that can't meter for poop
