Dual battery wiring tutorial (and why)

I have a couple of possible issues. The batcaps terminals are like set in, which means I would have to bend the bus bars to be able fit them down in the terminal. You see what I'm saying?
then use short 1/0 pieces. i'm not familiar at all w/ batcap

edit: yes. go with that.

hold up...

inset like this?

just turn them to face each other and bolt that **** up.

edit, that wouldn't work. they would be on opposite sides //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

you could def bend them. but have fun w/ that.
And it would be easier than having like 4 ring terminals on each battery. What If I did a bus bar, but not on the battery? Like I ran some runs of 1/0 from the 2 batcaps to a bus bar that is fused?

looking at that, could you not use a bit longer bolt with washers to compensate and just go right over the top of them?

like this:

bolt -> bus bar -> washers (to fill the gap) -> batcap.

Ya I guess I could. I just haven't messed around with it yet. I'm just thinking, it would be best to use copper materials, right?
