Dual amp wiring

Hi I recently bought a Kicker ZX500.1 amp and a Kicker ZX250.2 amp. I want the 250.2 to power my front speakers and the 500.1 to power my 2 subs. I bought a Kicker PKD4 dual amp wiring kit but I need help on what to wire to what. I'm new to car audio any help would be appreciated.

- power wire from batt + to anl fuse holder

- power wire from anl fuse holder to distribution block

- from the distro block, there will be two wires

- one wire to amp A and the other to amp B

- the remote wire can be jumped from amp A to amp B

- the two amps should share a common ground location

- RCA from front outputs on cd player to the amp that powers the front speakers

- RCA from sub outputs on cd player to the amp that powers the subwoofers

Simple...

To add to misfit's suggestions above, the inline fuseholder that comes with that kit goes next to the battery, and since Kicker only supplies a solid non-fused distribution block (1 in, 2 out) you should consider buying two additional inline 8ga fuse holders, or replace the Kicker distribution block with a fused version by another company (Tsunami makes some inexpensive ones).

What do you think will be better 2 fuse holders or a new distro block?
It doesnt really matter, which ever is cheaper.

I prefer one fused distro block instead of using the Kicker then adding extra inline fuse holders as its less hassle.

(Those Kicker distro's can be sold for enough that you might even make money on going to a fused distro, People love those things.)

Could you possibly give me a link to a fused distro thats of decent quality for a good price... Nevermind

Edit: Do you think this system can be handled by my stock battery?

Okay, I got a small problem. The Kicker distributor block that came with the dual amp wiring kit has two 4 AWG inputs and four 8 AWG outputs. My 500.1 amp's power inputs are 4 AWG and my 250.2's inputs are 8 AWG. Can I put 8 AWG in the 500.1? Or can one of the two 4 AWG inputs on the distributor block be used as an output?
