Dual Amp question(not brand)

I have 96 ZJ Laredo Jeep Grand cherokee, it has obviously the stock amp. I didn't have money for HU yet so I just took speaker wire and hooked it to the LR speaker. I then wired that to a rca plug and then hooked it into my 4 channel amp.

I had 2 questions:

I am only using 1 channel and its a 75x4 at 2 ohm amp. Does the amp receive the juice from the stock amp and add it to my second amp? Because it seems really loud on 2 12" kickers for 75 watts rms.

Anyone have any experience with soldering a ground to the rca on the amp because it ripped out of it, so its only useful for 4 channel

Im surprised you didnt fry the amp by now. You need to have a line level converter between your head unit and the rca inputs of your amp. They cost a whole 15 bucks at walmart.

Well I got 3 different 'converters' and I can't seem to get them to work, the newest one is a scosche fai 3 and it just doesn't want to work. I hooked it up at every input and used every rca and used each switch(line out/factory amp) I have had the rca without the line converter for a long time now, and it works just fine.

As for the other question I had, since noone will answer it without saying I am a retard, I hooked up a second rca to hook the second sub up. When I did that they both powered, but the bass substantially decreased. So I think for a fact that if you just use one channel that it will use all of the watts

If you can tell me exactly how to hook up the stupid converter I would be more than happy to do it that way because it would look cleaner under my rear seats.
