How do I wire this to 1 ohm to run of my hifonics 1600w mono 1 channel amp please as i haven't got a clue.

No, it means you wire it to 2 ohms and your amp will give the amount of power it's rated for at 2 ohms.

no it means you can't run it at 1 ohm.....you can run it at 2 ohms tho, which will give you about half the power that 1 ohm does

not useless, you can wire it too 2, you just wont be giving it alot of power.

What is the sub rated at? The amp at 2?

That sub needs 600RMS... and your amp at 2 ohms will give it around 1000 watts...

then your amp wil do about 600 at 2 ohms which means its a perfect match.
