dual 4ohm voicecoil wired to 1ohm help

ok, so I basically I wont be using my amps full potential then correct. whats the best way around this. should i change the amp if want at alot more power or change the sub for a 1ohm sub if thats possible

just get 2 D4 R's or 2 D4 L7's and be done with it.

or buy another sub like you have and run it at 1 ohm

that amp and sub combo will be very nice when....if , you get it wired correctly,

loud and clean, no need to change anything.

should rattle everything petty good

you just dont need 1600rms and 150 db unless you want to win a stupid tall trophy

I have built the box already for 1 15 so dont wanna change that

Then nothings wrong. Wire the sub at 2 and wang away.

I do understand it but thought 1600w rms would be more beefy than half for the sub, correct me if im wrong

Yes, I had the + to a - on the sub and then + to the amp & - to the amp, was that 8ohms

lets see....sub rated 600 wrms...amp puts out 1600 wrms at 1 ohm......hmmm 1000 watts more than what my sub is rated for=magic smoke
