I have a modest system; Headunit is a Pioneer P4400BH, CXS64 mids, SPX17PRO tweeters and crossovers powered with a MB Quart Onyx 2.100. New subs are about to be installed, 2 Dayton 12HO powered with a MB Quart Onyx 1.1500D.

I've never used a DSP before but wanted to know how hard would one be to integrate in my system and how difficult are they to set up?

Pretty simple, since you are going passive crossovers. Once you go active, then it gets fun

Not much more than $300-400, from my search it seems some of the ones people mention can be had for around that used.

We can offer Core-1 by Massive Audio. The software has features that make it easy to configure. I've had one in my car since its release.
