that car, would have neg 3 degrees of camber, with the adjustment maxed out, and no traction whatsoever.
It was only an example, a less aggressive offset could be used, be flush with the fender (in turn widening your track, hint hint), and still be at an acceptable camber (-1 to -2 is nothing). One point of running wheels that are flush is to use your car to its full potential, not just for looks. Think about it, why do you think a lot of professionally driven performance cars have fender flares? Example:
