Downloads acting weird

The weirdest thing is happening when im downloading stuff. I have constant stops and goes. It will stop for a sec, then go for a sec. Seems to only happen on my computer. Happens with Firefox 2.*, and flashget. Tried downloading several files from several sources, and it does the same thing.

Any suggestions?

I dont think it's my ISP. It only happens on my computer, the other computer connected doesnt have any problems. And its the ISP thats available to me

Thats wut im thinkin lol.

Yea I reset both router and modem. tried plugging into different port on router. I think its software based problem for some reason

Great idea. That might be it. I am trying it with the wireless, and it doesnt have the problem. tomorrow ill try switching the ethernet cable
