Double Din dvd player (not the same question as in other threads)

i have a chevy mailbu 2001 with the factory radio installed, i hope to put in a dvd player with touchsreen for under $500, and there are PLENTY out there, especially on ebay.... but my dilemma is that according to best buy, circut city, crutchfeild, and anyother website that has a "fit my vehicle" feature on it, NOTHING FITS!!!! according to crutchfeild my dash has a mounting depth of 6-1/4 inches... so my question is... is there a dvd player out there that fits the bill that i can put into my car???? thanks for your help!

Any indash will fit your car. All you require is a sawsall.

I went through the same thing with bestbuy. It doesn't list my vehicle with a nav option. I have bought the parts to make a doubledin fit in my dash and they still say it won't fit. I told them it came from the factory with a doubledin nav unit and they tell me no it didn't.
