Could you please provide more details on what aspects you are looking to upgrade? Are you interested in improving sound quality, adding features, or something else?

I want 5v pre outs, still able to retain steering wheel controls, Android auto and Apple car play, able to integrate a backup camera, etc

Buy another pioneer or android. Car play: Google map, Spotify, USB, DVD, back up cams, look for those types of features if it will work. Then see if it fits. Mounting kit. If the price is right, buy it. Usually Pioneer, Jensen, Android, Alpine, Kenwood, are all good companies. Clarion also from California has been around and good.​
