Eclipse CD7000 VS CD7100

I am debating between these two units. I know the cd7000 is an older model with 5 volt pre-outs, and I think a 7 band eq compared to a 12. I get the cd7100 through accomodations at circuit city.

CD7000 can be gotten through the web for about 260-275, im not going active or anything but i want somthing that is going to sound good. Should i get it or spend a little more and get the cd7100
