I have two 15's in my fraternity... Pretty fun. I move them downstairs for parties. I also have two nicely built cabinets for a more SQ oriented approach when I don't need the volume, but they aren't nearly as loud. I run around 150 watts to each of the big cabinets, they're full range, with a 15" woofer, 4" mid, 1" tweet.

i think its tuned at 28 actually. it hits the lows pretty well. i dont use it at full volume really at all but just wanted to build it and eventually transfer it into a car or sell the set up and mess with other equipment. nobody has problems with it and i dont blast it past 10PM or before noon. not many people are in the dorm from noon to 10 anyway so its cool.

i have an hdc318 hooked up in my little brother's room to his surround sound...has stuff falling off the wall and what not...lol...which i dont understand cuz that receiver shouldnt me puttin out much more than a couple hundred watts..lol.....but until i get somethin big enough to put that sub in, that's where it'll stay...

haha yeahh ive done a lot of different crap like that. i installed a pioneer 12 in a big JBL home theater box that was in my closet and ran it off of reciever power with some bookshelves and it was loud and boomy. that was a free set up as well so i just used that at home and built other crap.

hah i did that with a 5500 once in a sealed box running off of a shit JVC amp was a quick fix for a home theater sub =D

lol texas tech dorm. its actually not bad. im not always home from 12-10 lol. im not home a whole lot assuming i go to class until 2 and have discussions and stuff as well. i dont really party much though or anything so i can blast it for a little and chill.
