They use to come by my apartment complex, and they ended up playing football with us once lol. I would never let one of them in my house thoughYou are right, it does depend on the area. And i probably wouldn't mind if this guy came by offering this product as long as im not sleeping. Problem is most of the time people come door to door, if you dont answer because you're sleeping, they think you didnt ehar them and knock a few more times. Also, the only people that really come around my door are JW's and such so that probably doesnt help my opinion of it
