Door modification to fit 6.5

Hi I need help with designing a shell for my 6.5 speakers in my old BMW, which doesn't have any speakers in doors. I found a shallow space right by the driver (its the only space I wouldnt have to cut out) I have never seen enclosure for 6.5 in doors and have no idea what would my next step be. However I saw kickpanel tutorilas on the internet and assuming it would be somewhat the same. I apreciate any input for this project. (the car is not daily driver so I have time to work on it) Here is the picture to better show.

Thanks I was kinda hoping not to get in all the fiberglass thing but if its the only choice I have..

BTW ruckus are those spaekers free air or not?

A Dremel, a drill with a hole saw, a thin peice of MDF and some screws.

Yeah but will it work for non free air speakers? I have way too many wholes and way too much air space

I assume that you will be using a crossover on them which reduces the need for a small sealed enclosure, the door itself will act as the enclosure, its large enclosure size will only reduce the full range power handling of the speaker but deepen the mid bass, throw some deadener on the sheet metal to reduce resonance..

Im actually not sure if they are freeair or not I will have to look into it when I get home. You should be fine putting them in a door. and yes they have a crossover. maybe someone using Next ALS 16 can answer the question? (mine car will be kick panel and a custom rear deck pod so I never looked into freeair before I aquired them)
