Dont understand this problem - HELP

so i currently have a valor flipout installed and have it run to i think its my ignition so i got a 12v to it and it turns off when i turn my car off which is perfect but..... whenever i turn the car on my headunit resets all the settings ( bass treble reset the cd so its always back on track 1 and it always resets back to radio) and also it sets the **** volume to 12 so when i turn car on i gotta immediatly turn the volume down. so does anyone know how i would go about fixing this? or had the same problem??

You dont have the memory wire hooked up right

Idk about that deck, but most of the time its yellow and goes to the power source as well.

you have the constant and switched wires reversed.

hrm alright, that seems pretty easy to fix.. ill rip it out and look tomarrow, what exactly shouild i be looking for? like maby color or the name of the wire so that i can track it down? thanks
