Does .5ohm cause 2x problems

I'm kinda set on running a Q1-2200d at .5ohm, because I currently have a zxs1500 tht I want to run at 2ohm. Also I figure I can get 2500w, which wud power 2 HDS315's perfect since thy are rated 1200wrms. I have 2 Diehard Platinum 65's with a stock 130a alt. I will upgrade alt prior to Q1-2200d purchase, may add another batt. Now what problems can I expect from a .5ohm load???? I know it'l run hotter, but I will mount the amps behind my seats in an SUV, plenty of breathing room....

Amps will run hotter, less efficient, and will have a higher probability of failure. Half ohm is very strenuous for the amp's internals. If you can't afford the time and money to send the amp out for repair, don't do it. Plenty of people will tell you they do it all day erry day, and they likely do, but it's still significantly more risk.

I've got 99 problems but .5ohm aint one

Your amp will likely never see below 1ohm after rise anyway. If you have the electrical to back it up, go for it. I only run below 1ohm now a days

Dam....Well my alternate option is run the zxs1500 until I can get a Q1-3500, run it at 2ohm until I can get 2 D1 HDC's. Can I do this with 1 box?

How about this Box Rise Iv read about? Wud tht help my amp out at all?
