I tip because I am not a stingy low life piece of white trash. But I respect the rights of those who choose not to tip.
I solely rely on tips, as my hourly pay would cover gas and food basically. Completely different, depending on type of restaurant. I've seen people payed 4 an hour in restaurant jobs, because they live off of tips.Would you tip at wal-mart?
Would you tip at wal-mart?
$900 a week in tips where the **** did you work at?!Might i mention, for the first year and a half i was making 4000+ a month from a 5-6 hour a day job.. but like i said, i nearly run the place and all the customers know how much of the work i actually do. Pay from the job was 6 even an hour, but the customers took very good care of me.. until the local economy started hurting too

So....you should be tipped because you are paid a low amount?I solely rely on tips, as my hourly pay would cover gas and food basically. Completely different, depending on type of restaurant. I've seen people payed 4 an hour in restaurant jobs, because they live off of tips.
Well, some people think we should...as a mechanism to improve the quality of life of those employed at Wal-Mart.Sadly, I am suprised there is not a tip jar at each register! "Hey, I DID bag your items dammit!"
Before I shower to go to my job, i will mention that i bag the food, take the orders, run the cash register, deal with the problems in the restaurant and fix or at least help fix the mistakes that occasionally occur.. I'll have one person to help me who is cooking food and preparing sushi most of the time, and answering the phones while i'm delivering food and correcting mistakes. We are open 362 days a year, and me along with the owner work 7 days a week constantly unless i find 2 people to replace me for a day. To be honest, its not hard work as long as you pay attention and it keeps you busy.. You learn to move very fast and multitaskI tip but only around 10%. Someone had to package it for carry out, so there was some "waiting" done. I am also not a tight ***.
