Do you guys do your own oil changes?

Just wondering. I am thinking of starting to do my own. Right now, whenever I need an oil change, etc, I take it to the shop. But is it cheaper just to do yourself?

I do my own, the prices of oil changes has gone up way to much. Especially if u own more than one car like me...

for a total of 50 bucks i get 6 quarts of full syn and a new filter. Mobil M1. and im out in 15 minutes. I cant beat that.

but my oil filter is the biggest pita ever to change

Its like $40 average around here for an oil change...

I do my own, but its not really much cheaper than taking it to a shop. Maybe a few dollars

Too lazy to do it myself....for the 5 or 10 bucks extra I'll pay some kid to do it...

i do because the dealer wants over 60 bucks for a synthetic change. I buy Mobil 5w20 6 quarts and puraltor filter for right at 30.00. Takes all of 20 mins to change.
