Do we have any legal options?

No matter what the **** ANYONE tells you it comes down to the SPECIFIC lawyer and what trick they have up their sleeve.
Your situation is sooooo specific that everyones opinion has no relevence.

In these situations you always TRY

Asking advice like this on a car audio forum HAHAAH.. what if people told you to not bother.. would you go back to yer family fighting and screaming to let it go hahaha..
i know there are many ***** on this forum but i also know there are grown, and mature people on here with helpful opinions and i would consider anything people had to say within obvious reasoning. ive never had anything like this happen so i have no f*ing idea where to start and thanks for the lawyer idea

Any halfway intelligent mammal would've started with a lawyer, not caraudio.com.

im confused on what to do about this so hoping someone here has a idea..
last night my wifes father died of cancer @ age 50

he was diagnosed about 4 years ago and thought they got it somewhat contained but within the last 4 months it quickly spread to his chest and liver and passed last night

well anyway he was dating a girl for around a year and a half. they were married a few months ago. from the begining we were skeptical because she was well aware he wasnt going to win this battle but claimed that the church would frown on them both for not getting married, and after a while he gave in and were married a few months ago.

since he passed last night all hell has went through the roof in the family. he was set to make his will later this week but didnt get it done so by law it all goes to the wife, however they have a partial will concerning property and misc items that were suppose to be given to family and nothing to her. the will wasnt completed or signed so were unsure if it can be used if we need legal action

earlier this morning the wife found out that he made my his daughter(my wife) the beneficiary on his life insurance and she fawking lost it and stormed off to her aunts house which right away sent alot of red flags through our heads, from the start we thought she was in it for money and we kinda think its coming true.

are we able to take legal action against her to gain back his possesions or are we wasting our time?
Not only is it guaranteed by me that you will get all his shit back, you can also sue for half her possessions. This shit happens all the time here in FL where gold diggers be praying on old farts ready to kick the bucket. I should know I have a few friends who know some lawyers.

You can try, but there's nothing you can really do.
Law states that if no will is written and signed with witnesses that all property is thereby held and given to the wife.

If his will was written completely and signed, no big deal as you know, but seeing as it's not - there's not much you can do.

Irregardless as to how much we tell you on here, NOTHING is going to work out better than sitting down for a solid consultation with a lawyer. Hell if you have to, get in touch with one of the lawyers that only gets payed if you win the lawsuit - get their opinions, find out.
Bull fucking shit. It is obvious and can be proven easily that she had less than noble intent. He also doesn't need a money robbing attorney. He can handle this all on his own.

i could care less about it, but i'll be ****ed if it goes to a greedy ***** like her
You tell em!
Spider Monkey is a lawyer and only charges a $20 retainer fee.

OK, I can't even consider proceeding with my facetious replies. It doesn't matter how grown or mature someone is, if they don't practice in this area of law and IN YOUR STATE, their post is nothing but worthless opinion you fucking dipshit. At least the ***** are adding entertainment. The so called serious posts add NOTHING!

Kindly GTFO and STFU now.

Really? Florida F T W

Had a female friend whose father was big into real estate die in a car accident 2-3 months after he married. since he didn't have a will, everything went to the wife and she cut the daughter off..she was homeless for a few months while the step mom was living lavish in Alpine NJ

Not sure about FL. Without a will it is normally 50% to the spouse and the other 50% to the children.

The life insurance policy doesn't matter since your wife was the beneficiary.

Been here long enought to know you wouldn't get the answers you were looking for on here.

Also is common sense to hit up a lawyer...........

Sorry about your loss.

Just want to add, why did the dad wait so long to do a will? If he knew it was bad, he should have had one made up immeadiatley.
