when makin some baffles for my comps, i made a miscalculation and accidentally cut a hole too big for my tweets. to make it all better, i was thinking glassin the bottom of the baffle in the tweet cutout so the tweet would sit on the fiberglass. is that a good idea, or is there any way to fix it??

Here are some pics to let u get the idea:

Do the tweeters come with a cup to install them into? Figured Rainbow's would.
they do, but the thing is, the diameter of the cup is the same as the tweet itself.

(off subject) its not swivel either //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif its at a fixed angle

LMAO !!!Tweeters needing air space //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
i was lookin at them...they look just like very verry small woofers... so i thought they might need airspace. iono

Only way tweets would need space is if you use horns and a compression driver //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

if i were you - id prolly just lay a layer or 2 of fiberglass across the top of that piece of wood, and cut a smaller hole, and fill in the sides with a little body filler (on the back)

but DO NOT fill the fiberglass WITH the tweet in place. you want to be able to REMOVE this stuff someday (i knwo you will) and trust me, you dont want to seal these tweets in there. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif
