Do IDMAX's need to be broken in..

I just bought a reconed IDMAX 12" v3 that has yet to see power, should I be pretty sensitive with the gains and gradually turn them up over time, or will it be fine with a normal conservative gain?

Set the gain correctly and enjoy.

Since its a D2 sub, I have to wire it at 1 ohm on my NINe.1

I was thinking that the gain set half way would give this baby all the juice it needs?
