I just bought a 275a singer that maxes at 310a, so do I really need a battery? in a few months or so I'll be moving up to higher wattage but why will I need batteries if I have a high amp alternator

depends on how much higher your wattage is.

I have a ct sounds at500.1 for now. leaning towards 1 2k audiopipe or 2 1-1.5k hifonics strapped

if I get the money to get 2 hdc3's like I want then I'll get 2 2.5ks but if I do that I'll definitely get at least one big xs power agm

U wont need one until you up it to the 2nd 2.5k..just get a solid agm under the hood

I currently run two of his batteries that he's sold. As of now i'm good on battery power but i wanna buy one of those for the smokin' deal! Idk how he can sell them that low

I think the general rule of thumb is 10 amps are good for 100 watts but I could be wrong. Until your voltage is dropping below 12.8 you don't need batteries I think. But I'm no expert.
