Do i need to upgrade wiring?

So after over a year with no system(previous ed nine 1 got jacked) i got ahold of another nine 1 and a nine 2x to go along with it. My current wiring is knukonceptz 4 gauge kollosus. Cant remember if its ofc or cca. Anyway the goal is the nine 1 powering 2 sq hds212's and the nine 2 powering front components(undecided). I know most people will say go with 1/0 but is it overkill? Money is a concern right now just going piece at a time..

if you are worried about it just keep the gain low, or wire to a higher ohm.

you can always turn up once you get proper wire.

i wouldnt run much more then 100a through 4awg

and you can get a run of 1/0 for $25-30

Considering RMS you shouldn't be doing any more than 1500W, you'll be fine with 4AWG as long as it's not an extremely long run.

Follow up question. When i first got new car i was intimidated by electrical. 08 avenger. So i had shop do amp wiring. Instead of connecting power directly to battery they went off jump start post( battery is down by wheel well inaccessible from top) im guessing i need to correct this as well?

I was always wondering the same thing cause I have a nine.1 as well running my hdc312 with a sundown 125.2 running my comps up front. I'm in a 350z so not a long car but everyone keeps telling me I need to run 0g. I just have the one battery agm and stock 110 alt.
