Do I need to Upgrade my Electrical System???

I have a 105amp alt which is less than a year old and an 800amp (yellow top?) battery.

Only running about 600 watts rms split between subs and speakers but am planning to jump to around 1000 watts rms. What do you think, is my electrical system ample??

only way is to find out.

invest in a volt meter to watch your voltage.

You should be just fine. Worse comes to worse, do the big 3 in 1/0 and you should be alright.

Thanks. yeah didn't think this setup would be putting too much strain on my electrical system. I have a volt meter so i will check it out once it warms up a little.

I will definetly look into doing the big 3 soon.

you'll be fine. you probably won't pull more than 30a-40a at any given time from your amp

Good shit. I was hoping thats the answer i would recieve. The less I do to upgrade the electrical in my car, the less chance I **** up my car!
