when christmas comes around ill be picking up a directed audio 1500 off ikesound and hookin it up to my kicker solo L7 , this is all going in a 89 buick century, do you think ill have to upgrade anything?

if i just got a yellow top do you think that would be enough? and also later on i'll prolly be throwing in another L7

What ohm load will you be running the amp at? I would just upgrade the Big 3 and then if you get dimming.. look to other electrical upgrades.

is that a 3.1? most likey it's a 105 amp alt so you might be able to get aay with a big 3. won't know till you try it. also make sure to use proper gauge wire and good grounds.

actually its the 3.3 6 cyl. and i will be running a 2 ohm load to give 800 watts (subwoofer is dual 4 ohm), but when i purchase the next L7(also dual 4) i will run a 1 ohm load to give 1100 watts

and this might also be important, but when i listen to the stock radio with bass all the way up and volume all the way up (clipping the speakers like hell cus i dont care) i notice the lit-up alphanumeric characters on the radio like radio station + time dim when the bass hits from the 6x9's in the back

ooo i got a 92 buick regal, what size box u got in there? u know the dims? how loud is it and how does it sound?? lol sry for all the questions thanks

i have yet to have anything installed //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif , im not quite sure on the box im gonna use yet, but im just gonna use http://accelerator-pedal.com/ported-box.asp to make me a a 3^3ft. box tuned to around 32 hz
