Do I need to do any preparation for my Orion 2500D?

id fuse everything just in case, smaller fuses first , if they blow go a lil bigger.

I plan on it, probably next season, then I might take it for a couple runs again. I don't plan on cranking it all the way till then anyways. With my 8" install, I've been more of a fan of overall SQ oriented music.

Well I finally switched my amps out today, I just didn't finish the wiring because I need some more parts from knukonceptz. Before I finish it off, I did want to ask this...I've heard that low voltage has been the common issue in problems with this amp...i was wondering how low they usually mean. 12 volts, 11, 10? If I keep my gain a little bit further down and don't blast it enough to drop it too much, I should be okay till I beef up my electrical right?

Sorry for the questions, it's just that it was a big purchase, and I know it has already been said that too many people get amps like these without preparing for the electrial requirements...so I want to prepare for it.

Well my stuff comes Wednesday. 4 ft of silver 1/0 KLM kable, 6 ft each of 4 ga blue and silver eko kable. 2 100 amp mini anl fuses, 2 50 amp mini anl fuses, 2 sets of 1/0 set screw ring terminals.

hopefully it all works out. I got the amps prepped and almost mounted. waiting on my endcaps and the wiring to finish it off. I'll get pics this weekend.
