Do I need OFC for my setup

you need to run the same gauge wire for ground as you do power. heard it's no good running smaller for grounds
according to the chart to figure your amperage it gives the size wire also for the amerage you will be running and the feet. Since my runs for grounds is 1-2 ft it calls for 4 gauge //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

i like discussions period lol. I'm a great debater and love to debate certain topics, some more than others. I mean I love stories like you guys and people who run certain things with their vehicles be it certain audio stuff or parts. Thanks for all the info, proves that pretty much you just do what you feel in your heart most of the times after getting info and opinions from folks. I always appreciate anyone who takes the time to chime in. I haven't read all of the replies but just going to ask again about the welding wire. Here are images
sorry the first image the **** flash was on lol but it looks just like regular car auto wire, feels like it also and the wire is flexible like it
yes i all what "you, the user" want if you want to spend the extra(i dont lol)..... CCA is fine by me lol

Eb flex is the best and cheapest welding you can find
so welding wire is fine? Only thing is it's black //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

might at least paint a foot on both ends of the wire in red //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif :)

^^^ second! think of it like a loop, the same amount of power needs to be able to run from the battery to your amp (+) and from your amp to the battery (-). so they should always be the same size wire.
even though the neg from your amp aint going up all the way to the battery neg lol? But I guess ground is ground

and also, from the battery to back of car then from that to the fuse block comes out small so what about that break in size of wire from amp to fuse?

You don't like black? Be careful, whitedragon may ban you.. lol

On a serious note, welding cable also comes in red. I think paint would flake off the insulator.

ofcourse I love me some me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I was thinking rubber paint but I would inquire about it. So I'm guessing it's fine to use weld wire from your response lol even though no one said yay or nay

welding wire is great wire as long as its flexible enough to run
I can also use that same welding wire and make my own Big 3 upgrade kit right? All I need are the Lugs. What else comes with the kit that I may need? Other battery Terminals?
