Do I need new alt/battery/cap?

I have an Alpine MRP-f300 powering the inside with 200watts 4 ohms. I'm also getting an Alpine PDX-1.1000 powering 12" Type-X sub.

What do I need to supply this with enough constant power? Do I need new alternator, battery?

I have Mazda 626 '00.

A good battery such as an XS Power, 1/0 cables, good grounds to start. 1/0 ground from battery to body, battery to engine and replacing the alt lead from alt+ to batt+ to insure proper flow.

A second battery may be desirable dependent on the draw the amp places on your system. If you still need more you can get a high output alternator.

Start with the basics. Good battery, good cables, good grounds. Go from there as the need arises.

First step is Big 3 upgrade.

Second step is AGM front battery.

Third step is HO alternator upgrade and/or second AGM rear battery.

Do one step at a time until you have stable voltage (voltage>12.6v) at the amps.

Big 3 upgrade and an agm battery under the hood would be the places I would start. Kinetik or a deka intimidator would be good choices
