Do I need more power??

Plan on getting the new kicker zx1500.1 to run two 12" L7's. I know the amp will push more than 1500 watts and I also know it can run at 1 ohm. So I need to know if this one amp will be enough to push my subs. If so should i get my L7's in the 4 ohm version and run my amp at the 2 ohm 1500watts or should I get the 2 ohm version of the L7's and run my amp at 1 ohm. Will this little increase even be noticable and is it worth the risk of hurting my subs/amp? And another thing, Im looking for a badass deck for under 400. Any suggestions? ( I dont mean try to sell me your old deck. I want a new one) Thanks

I Would Not Run That Amp At 1 Ohm. Yes I Could Probably Be Ok But It Isnt Gonna Be As Effient As It Should Be.

I Would Just Bite The Bullet And Look For A 2k Amp At Least, But The Zx2500.1 Would Be Great Way To Power You Subs

Yeah...I'm pretty sure the zx2500 would blow my subs considering kicker amps are underrated as is so i would be getting about 1400 watts to each sub...dont think that would be too good.

the 1500.1 would be enough, but the L7s can handle more. Get 2 dual-2 ohm woofers and wire them to a 2 ohm load. In general, don't run amplifiers lower than their rated impedences.
