Do I need more power? Batt Alt Big 3

Again, if your doing things properly it wont matter if your going 1000 rms 4 ohms or 1500 @ 2 ohms. Use a DMM, set the gains for 750 rms and dont go over that threshold and you'll be fine.
Oooo....So does the Ohm affect the output at all? Does it have any affect on sub performance?

It does have an effect. Youll get more power on tap at lower impedance. key word on tap. Meaning you can set the gain matching the head units output voltage to determine how much power thesub actually sees.. Id recommend that you learn how to set gains properly with a digital multimeter.

I looked it up, from wat i understand the formula is SquareRoot of Ohms x Watts an tht would giv me my a/c reading on the DMM. Does tht seem correct? Is that matching the HU output?
