So im unrunning my single run of 0 gauge and upgrading to 2 runs of hyperflex. When i had one run i used a fuse holder in the back by the back battery and one by the front battery. Is that really needed? If i dont really need them i dont want to have to use them . Opinions?

yea i normally do but i hear alot of people talk about not using them.
i personally have never used them but your risking it a lot, and car audio equipment aint cheap, if your not going to use them just be very carefull and make sure every connection is nicely tight and good to prevent any dead shorts etc,

Your amps are already fused. They have fuses built in. I wouldn't think you would need an additional fuse block at the amp. Besides, if you short the power wire, the wire will want to burn between the short and the battery, so your amps shouldn't be affected anyway. I would always use one at the battery, but I don't use them at the amp. (My amps all have replaceable fuses built in).

You still need a fuse holder on the output side of the front battery, and the input side to the rear battery.

I recommend making your own to some nuts/bolts and some birch.... or finding a clean one that accepts ring terminals... since you have multiple runs and can stack the rings terminals.
