Cone area is king. if the 18s will fit, do it. (Treo!)but how did you build and tune the box without driver displacements?

Well... Any subs(unless it's a new xxx or AA smd)are gonna have similar displacements. And tuning is box-dependent and not sub-dependent, right?

But I'm wondering... Would two 18's in a smallish box necessarily be louder than two 15's in a largish box? Hmmm...

what do you have? a box with no holes cut in it? or do you have 8cubes of available space in your vehicle?

sub displacement changes tuning bc it makes the box volume less.

Id go with 2 15s and let them breath
