HELP!! Wire 2 dual voice coil subs to 1 2 channel amp?!?!

Hey all, I have 2 MA audio 10" subs with 2 voice coils each, and I have one 2 channel 800 watt Pioneer amp to power them with. What would be the best way to wire these subs?

are they dual 2 ohm or dual 4 ohm subs? what model amp?

The subs are both 4 ohms, and the amp is a GM-5300T 2 channel 760 Watts. Thanks.

Sorry, I meant Dual 4 ohms.

Wire both subs to present a 4-Ohm final load and bridge the amp or wire the coils in parallel and give each sub it's own channel. Either way ends up with the same power to each sub.

Sorry, I'm sort of car audio illiterate, so are you saying that I should just use one channel for each sub, and wire both voice coils to the same channel?

If you want to run each sub to it's own channel, you do this:

If you want to run them at 4-Ohms, bridge the amp and wire them like this:

^ that's exactly what you need to do there. Either option will give each sub the same power.

what if u bridge a 2 channle amp, and splice 2 wires coming out of the + and 2 wires coming out of the -? then do what is done on the first image?

if i correctly follow you, that will create a 1ohm load on the amp...not good if its a 2ch
