i really like mine i have the ipod hook up and sirius with lifetime subscription....

i know it can play videos thru the ipod but can it play it from like a thumbdrive or harddrive

i'm not sure but one good thing to play DVD's you just ground the green wire...no flipping switches....or special adapters like pioneers...alpines and other

Video playback is possible using the iPod, or various disk formats (DVD, VCD, etc.), but I am almost certain that you cannot play videos off of USB drives.

It WILL NOT play any type of video off the usb EXCEPT from a Ipod video. The same videos that won't play through usb will play fine if burned to a cd or dvd.
