dmm install question

Hi i just found my dads dmm and was wondering does any body know how to use it. Im trying to set my amps gains to play their rms. the first is a four channel lightning audio 300rms and the second is a visonik v900xd 1500rms @14v and 1800rms @17v mono amp. have you read the Gain Setting Tutorial, i believe that thread explains what to do
