Directed 2400

Hey, before anything i just want to say i dont know much at all about amps in general. But anyway...

A friend of mine is getting a new system so he is selling his old stuff. He says he has a Directed 2400d for sale, which i can get for $150. 2400w max, 1200w RMS sounds like a great amp to me.

I found a pic of his setup and i dont know if it is an older model or what, but the amp in the pics looks different than the 2400 showed on the Directed Audio website. I dont know if you can take that silver faceplate thing off or what, it just doesnt look to same to me. If any of you can help me out or if you can recognize it, it would be much appreciated.

Look at getting more like 900w rms @ 1ohm via 13.8v

must be the d2400, thats not the older model 2400d.
