Alright so im wiring in an amplifer for my subs. I've got a pioneer headunit (DEH-P4800MP), and im wiring in a Soundstorm Vanquish V6002 1200 Watt 2 Channel Amp Car Audio

One question before i start tellin you my wired problem.
- Does the RCA go to the IN on the amplifier, and then im assuming on the Sub woofer output (labeled SW) from the back of the headunit....? (only other outputs are labeled rear output and front).
Now this amp is working, because i just got it from my friend and i put it back into his car and it works great. But, heres whats going on. RCA cable is hooked up....I've wired up the power and ground, and know that there all set, because i used a test light to make sure and they were getting power and working. This leaves me with the remote turn on lead. I've hooked it up to the remote turn on wire coming from the headunits wiring harnes. I put a multimeter up to the wire from the headunit and it reads about 14 or something, so tahts good. Hooked it up and ran it to the back, where the wire reads the same. Hook the wire up, but the amp will not turn on. When i hooked the mulitmeter up to the remote turn on lead after its hooked into the amp it only read about 6. (not sure if thats bad) But the amp will not turn on and i cant figure out why.
Things I've tried.....
- hooking the remote turn on lead to the power antenna wire.....still didnt work
- hooking the remote turn on lead to the power wire at the back of the headunit.....still didnt work
I don't know what else to try...i think i put the headunit at the right setting...idk whats going on.
Fuses all checked fine also.
