Directed 1100D5 Set up Questions

Apologies for posting a new thread as my first post.

I have a jeep wrangler and recently decided that a bunch of things that i have laying around the house need to make their way into the jeep for some sound.

I have a Directed 1100D5 amplifier with no other use.

I have a pair of Rockford Fosgate P2 dual 4 ohm voice coil subs

CDT 5.25 Componants

and possibly buying some coaxials for the rear.

The directed amplifier says it is 1 ohm stable to the sub for 600 watts, which i could run 300 watts each to the RF which would be about right.

Can i run a 1ohm load to 4ohm vc's??

I am not necassarily new to car audio, just not really into either so i dont understand all these things.

Yes you can, just wire all the postives together and all the negatives together to yield a 1 ohm load at the amp nominal...

Do you think the amp would do a decent job for said application?

Basically im looking at running two ch to the front cdt comps and 2 ch to rear coaxials(likely a pair of kappas i have sitting in my closet) all at 2 ohms and the fiffth channel at 1 ohm to the sub.

Would this work?
