Digital Multimeter

I definately need to purchase a mulitmeter for configuring my amps and stuff, plus they are just nice to have. Will a regular one from craftsmen for 19.99 work just fine, or is there a DMM I need to make sure I get inparticular.

I have a $20 craftsman one and it works just fine. Had it for 3-4 years now.

Be it a $20 Craftsmen, a $5 one from Harbor Freight, or a $300 Fluke.

the $5 harborfreight ones work good, they are just not durable, dont drop it and bang it around, beleive me i know. I usaully break 1 a year.

The cheaper one maybe too slow if your checking fluctuating voltage .

Sears sells a fluke 115
