I dont mean to jack over your thread but i have a question, asking for everyones opinion. I have a '05 15" XXX and someone offered me 4 1012a DD's. Do you think it would be worth the trade?

how do the 1012's compare to L7's ?

Actually DD doesn't make the 1012's any more they will be making 1512's...I feel will out play the L7's...all I know that is fact...a frend of mine is running 4 DD 1008a's in his Dodge Dakota all 4 sharing the same chamber in a 5 cu ft total ported box.... is louder and hits Lower than another guy I know that has two L7 15's in Kickers middle size ported box 5 cu. ft each....

why do they have wires coming out of the tinsle leads? do they not have connect tabs or spring loaded thingys like normal subwoofers have?
