groovy, but wouldent that cause severe tinsle slapping? or since they are hand crafted by the gods they've already fixed anything you can comprehend would go wrong?

why do they have wires coming out of the tinsle leads? do they not have connect tabs or spring loaded thingys like normal subwoofers have?

They use wires...I use wire nuts and tape ...to connect mine...there is less resistance loss you get more power to your subs...(if you've been around Kickers long you'll notice burnt leads on the other side of the terminal blocks) plus DD's are hand built at least all I have posted using all American made parts or products...I don't beleive there are any American companies that make high end binding post any more //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif Each of the DD subs and midbass are hand tested and go through 3 test before leaving the factory....as far as I know ...no one else individually test each and every speaker before you get it...unless it is something totally custom made...all the other manufacturers are just in a hurry to push it out the door....

99Z's arent worth the extra money. They are usually only louder then the 95,99's if you give them ALOT of power (over8kW or so watts per)

Ive seen people use binding posts on DD subs before, for people who take em in and out alot of their enclosures (ie : SPL competitors)

The leads are not woven into the spiders. The leads are laminated BETWEEN the spiders. It is impossible to have lead slap on DD/AQ subs. The lead wires are 10 gauge. Also, the lead wires don't break or burn into.
