How do you go about running an amp at 14.4v instead of 12v..I dont quite understand

upgrade the stock electrical system on the car (do the big 3, new alternator, yellow top battery and possibly another battery in the trunk) to help maintain a faster, smoother current flow throughout the car to maintain as close to 14.4v as possible (you may still have voltage drops).

yellow top put me at 13v but I'm still running on a stock alt tho.

Some cars run more more current stock than ohters, MY Suv reads 14.0 volts on my Dmm at the Batter while my system is playing. 115 amp stock alt ftw.
